Real File Viewer exists because opening a file to check its contents shouldn't require uploading it anywhere. Whether it's a contract, a client spreadsheet, or a photo, the fastest and safest way to look at it is directly in your browser — with nothing sent to a server.

Every viewer on this site — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and HEIC, CSV, JSON, code, ZIP archives, audio, video, and EPUB — is built on well-established open-source libraries (pdf.js, Mammoth, SheetJS, Shiki, JSZip, and the browser's own Web Audio/Video APIs) running locally via WebAssembly and JavaScript. There's no account system, no file storage, and no paywall.

The site is free to use, supported by advertising rather than by charging to view your own files. If you need to edit PDFs rather than just view them, that's a separate, purpose-built product — this site stays focused on fast, private viewing.
